Fantastic.
Best holiday weather for September.
Cool to start, then Hot and sunny later on in the day however a cardigan will be needed for the evenings.

Shopping in Angouleme and Saintes.
Bus ride for 1 euro to Angouleme and Cognac, great price!.

St. Simon river trip.
Meal at l' Alambic . Jarnac

Definitely will stay again at Gondeville Chambre D'hôte. The rooms are great aswelL as the breakfasts, swimming pool and hosts. All for 55 euros !!!! Can't go wrong.
