Dependant on the time of the year of course.... March/April /May is te hot season, but not as hot as Bangkok or inland, being right at the ocean.

Holiday

We love Hua Hin. its our favourite holiday spot in Thailand. Its getting bigger and busier, unfortunately, not as laid back and peaceful as in the past, but still nice. The local are more friendly than in the other main tourists spots, they havent been corrupted by big money as yet. The price of things are reasonable, in fact I was very surprised doing, the usual tourist shopping.

Places Recommended

Night markets in town are fun, the beaches are great, just be careful of rocks underwater,, I did a running dive and just missed skinning myself on one. In the main street, down at about Soi 50 there is a Thai handicraft shop, has some beautiful items for sale, and not expensive.
The supermarket in the same complex has a HUGE selection of wines and spirits and beer from all over the world..

Weather

The weather was nice and hot. It only rained twice and that was at night. Don't forget the suncream as the heat is very strong throughout the day, from early morning until late afternoon.

Holiday

The hotel was great, we had bed and breakfast which was OK.

We ate out in the evenings at the local night markets, which was better than any posh resturant.

The people were really nice. We can't wait to go back again. It was our 11th time to Hua Hin and hopefully it won't be our last.

Places Recommended

Go and see the elepahnts and the white tigers.

Also, visit Monkey Island for some wonderful sights.
