The weather was brilliant as usual. only a couple of afternoons when the heavens opened for a few hours.

Holiday

Very quiet - as I am elderly the shopping area was quite a distance to walk. Spent my time sitting by the pool reading. Food was basic - no signs of chicken breast on any of the selections- came to the conclusion that Tunisian chickens are a special breed. Most of the meats were stewed and tough. Deserts were lovely if you like cakes. I cannot fault the waiters as they did all they could to meet your every request.

The hotel was really outdated, and not a 4 star as quoted. It had been sold to new owners on the day I flew out. hope they intend to completely refurbish

Not Hammamet - badly I need of reconstruction. As I have been to this country before I recommend that visitors try the tours to get the true feeling of this lovely country.

A real must if it is your first visit, expensive but if you choose carefully you will find it a real experience that you will remember forever.

Weather

The weather for the time of year was still hot. We did have a wonderful thunderstorm which lit up the sky for a while - but no rain.

Was lovely on the beach as there was a breeze.

Holiday

Holiday was fantastic. I have been to Tunisia several times but must admit this was the best and most relaxing holiday I have had.

We stayed at the El Mouradi El Menza and were well taken care of during the whole stay. The private beach was lovely and at this time of the year was not crowded.

The whole resort is comfortable to walk around and the shop traders are just a little pushy but humorous with it. There are many bargains to be had, especially leather goods and jewellery, but barter with them.

Weather

Summer on the island begins during May and carries on right through until October. In the peak of summer during July and August, the barometer can peak at 35C to 40C. The temperature will often see days reaching above 30C in the middle six months of the year.

Holiday

Its the seventh time we have been to Lesvos, weve made some very good friends there. Anaxos is the best place to go if you want a quiet peaceful holiday

I would recommend that you try to visit as much of the island as possible it is a fantastic place.
