An amazing European Blue Flag beach can be found at Trani Ammouda Beach which translates to large sandy beach. You might also hear this beach referred to as Livrochio Beach and it features a fine white sand with a clear turquoise water. The area is not very developed but you will still have access to some facilities. The water has a sandy bottom so it is a great choice for families and children.

Things to do in Halkidiki in September

Aqua Vibe

For a great boat tour try Aqua Vibe. This is the perfect choice for those looking for a sightseeing tour with a bit of adventure. Tours last two hours and can take a maximum of 8 passengers. Riding at 25mph, you will pass several islands until reaching your first stop point in order to swim, snorkel and jump in the water from the boat. Children under 3 are free, ages 3-12 15 and adults are 20.

Dive Club Kassandra

This centre has been in existence since 1996 and is a five star PADI certified dive centre. There are two adventure programs available, a snorkelling excursion where you snorkel along the rocky coastline and through tunnels and discover scuba diving which requires a successful completion of a beginner's course.
