Some snow, a great deal of bright sunshine.Good, deep snow the week before arrival made for excellent skiing.
Walking tracks were only just opening.
Holiday
Excellent.Grimentz is a lovely quiet, family resort. No glitz.
Superb bus services - free in the village and to adjoining resorts for ski pass holders.
From the station in Sierre, a frequent bus service goes up the valley.
Chalet Etoile is self catering, large, comfortable and homely.
It is very tastefully decorated and furnished and has wonderful views.
Right in the village so very close to the Bendolla, shops, Hotel Moiry and other eating places.
