Scoppio del Carro (Explosion of the Cart) – Piazza del Duomo 🗓
A centuries-old Easter Sunday tradition in which an ornate cart is pulled to the cathedral and ignited by a mechanical dove launched during Mass. The controlled firework display symbolises peace and prosperity, attended by large crowds in the historic centre.
