It gets VERY hot here in Fethiye and the region generally. I usually visit in April/May or Sept/Oct and the temperatures are round about 25C+ during the day. Often reaches around 32C for these months too and nights can be a little hot and sticky for sleeping. Air Con is a must!July and August temperatures have been known to be in the 45C range and have been higher.
Calis Beach area gets a welcome breeze in the afternoon and the residential areas in the mountains are up to 5C cooler than Fethiye Town.
Holiday
My holidays here have been the best I have had anywhere. I am totally addicted to Turkey and in particular this region.The scenery, the climate, the food, the culture and most of all the people are the factors that make this region so special.
Fethiye is authentic. It doesn't exist just because tourists visit. It is a market town growing huge quantities of fresh fruit and veg which you can buy in the Tuesday market. They taste like fruit and veg should taste. Super fresh!
Fethiye is a fishing port too and the fish market is a place to choose your fresh fish and then have it cooked on site. Turkey still offers amazing value for money. You need to have a holiday here. You will not regret it.

Calis Beach - take the Water Taxi into Fethiye for 5 TL each way. Very relaxing.Olu Deniz for the stunning Blue Lagoon and the Buzz Bar to watch the paragliders land.
Fethiye harbour for the beautiful boats and you may just see the famous turtles (caretta) swimming between the boats. Loads of excellent cafes and restaurants in the area - Mozaik Bahce in Fethiye Centre for Eastern Turkish food just one of them.
