Not to impressed with Es Cana, plenty of bars and looks nice but not very clean, beach is just 1 big ashtray, covered in cigarette butt's and litter.

Visited Santa Eluria, very clean beach with notices saying no smoking on beach

Weather was lovely. Not a drop of rain.
Even though a couple of mornings looked rather cloudy, by mid-day the sun was splitting the sky.
Holiday
Thoroughly enjoyed my week at the Hotel Caribe in Es Cana. It is five years since we last visited this hotel and although I enjoyed it then this hotel has made many improvements. Rooms were cleaned six days in the week, towells changed every single day. The food was fantastic with plenty of choice. Could have done with a little more wardrobe space in the room and the balcony was rather small. However these are only minor points as the hotel overall was great.
Places Recommended
Took the ferry to Ibiza. Enjoyed walking round the old town and wandering into some of the little boutiques. The Hippy market was a pleasant day.
Spent most of our evening in "Charlies" just 200yds from the Caribe. The entertainment was fantastic with tribute bands to the Bee Gees, Four Tops, Temptations, Madness, and Take That.
