Getting to and from Edinburgh Airport
Bus
The Airlink 100 bus departs outside the airport from Terminal D every 10mins throughout peak-season and every hour during off-season and takes approximately 30 minutes from the city centre to the airport. In 2019 a single fare is £4.50 and a return is £7.50 (reductions for children).
Train
Edinburgh Gateway station is located on the airport perimeter and can be accessed from the terminal from a regular tram link (journey time 7 minutes). This station has regular connections to Fife, Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness and northern Scotland.
There's another tram link to Edinburgh Park station (journey time 13 minutes). This station has regular connections to Glasgow, Falkirk, Stirling, Dunblane and most of central Scotland.

You will find the airport easily accessible off the A8 and M8 roads between Edinburgh and Glasgow, around eight miles west of Edinburgh city centre.
