Holiday

Nice even though the weather was a disappointment .
The hotel was beautiful and the staff were efficient but less friendly than we experience in Florida.

I think there is a noticeable cultural difference but it was still nice.

I think Florida disney spoils you because of size and experiences that Paris is too small to give.

We go to paris as a filler in between our Florida holidays. We would recommend paris to people who have time constraints but paris is expensive for the experience you get in comparison to our disney Florida holidays

Holiday

my holiday was extrodiary , i would recommened the christmas season to anyone looking to go for the lights decerations atmosphere and parades are out of this world and also you can visit santa with the kids near thunder mountain :) i would recommend space mountain , rock n rolller coaster , tower of terror and crush coaster for extreme riders of rides . family fun on thunder mountain , and much more and for everyone haunted mansion , dumbo , peter pans flight , aladins carpets and autopia :)

Places Recommended

yes , visit armageddon , moteurs action , stitch live and much more live shows. also the disney castle and i would highly recommened to stay in the explorers hotel for they dont have too dear prices and have great facilities well worth the money staying here , but if your looking for the fanciest stay at the disney hotel. also visit the disney village , its a small world and the lion king show in a restaurant near space mountain

Weather

We have been in September, May and twice in August which is our favourite time to go. We have had great weather each time we've been with the exception of an enormous thunder storm during our May visit.

Holiday

Disneyland Paris is our favourite place on earth. You can't expect a relaxing time as there is just so much to do. Our 6 and 8 year old daughters love it, as do we. We think they put something in the air out there! Disney do everything right. It is a little expensive but is so worth it when you see your kids with a smile from ear to ear even when they sleep. We've stayed at the Disneyland Hotel (magnificent) the Santé Fe (clean and comfortable!) and our last two visits have been to the Davy Crocket Ranch (very basic caravan but again, clean and comfortable and great facilities and pool).

Places Recommended

Try to fit it all in!! We love the Rain Forest Cafe in Disney Village. If you have younger children, make sure you do a character lunch as these are just great. We always go to one at Cafe Mickey again in Disney Village. Make sure you pick up a park timetable when you arrive so that you can make sure you don't miss any parades or meet and greet sessions!

Weather

We went the first week in August and it was warm, sometimes hot but not uncomfortable. Lovely in the evenings too.

Holiday

Fantastic!! A must for families. It is a little expensive but with everything that's put on from the hotel within the resort to free shuttle buses, to the parks and shows themselves, it's worth every penny. It's such a beautiful place and clean. I found it easy to order food at various places even though I can't speak french. HIghly recommend it.

Places Recommended

All the disney resort and both parks!

Weather

When I went to Disneyland Paris it was the beginning of September 2009. It was absolutey boiling hot, this is the first time I have been to Disney in weather like this and honestly I'm not sure if I would want to experience it again.

Holiday

The holiday itself was very good but Disneyland Paris was not built for hot weather.

The water was expensive and for some of the rides the wait was over an hour and there was not adequate shade or covering to stop you from getting burnt. The lack of shade stopped us from queing in the 75 minute queue for crushes rollercoaster.

The hotel that we stayed in, the Santa Fe, was basic, we has no air con, no safe and very basic amenities. It would have been fine if the weather is not hot but going back to a warm room was not always so pleasant.

Places Recommended

I would recommend that if you are travelling with small children to push the boat out and stay in a higher rated hotel simply for the fact that the walk from the Santa Fe was 20 minutes and if you go when its hot it seems a lot longer.

If you have a tighter buget then I would recommend the Hotel Cheyanne. I have stayed there before and it seemed a lot better.

Overall the restuarants in the downtown disney area are ok. Planet Hollywood is definately a one off if you go there as its quite expensive for average food.

Annettes diner is always good and the new york style deli is nice for sandwiches.

If you are flying to Paris the only grievence I have is with the Disney transport coaches. They recommend that you get on one 3 hours before you need to be at the airport and there is no need for this. If u are flying at a time that is not peak traffic time and you are going to Orly then you don't need 3 hours to get there. However, if you are going to Charles de Gualle then be more cautious as traffic is heavier.

I would recommend that instead of using the coach, get on a train that goes straight into Disney. You will see when you get there that it is not far from the entrance to the park.

There is also transport that can take you to the different hotels.

Overall as a person who's been to Disney many times I would recommend it fully but just be aware of the issues I've raised and the fact that food, drink and merchandise is quite pricey due to the weak pound to euro ratio.
