We arrived on 13th May 2014 and had ten days of good weather in Olu Deniz. But the week before we were told that the rain had been torrential so we felt very lucky indeed.

The temperature most days when we were there was about 72 degrees Farenheit or 21 degrees Celsius, and mostly we had partly cloudy or clear skies.

Holiday

OluDeniz town leads down to the main beach which is shingle. From the beach you can get on boats for day trips, we did go on one of these but did feel it was too long. The trip lasted from 11-6pm, but we were ready to get off after 3 hours.

There are some really good restaurants, bars and shops, it can be quite loud in the evening but we didn't mind. The people are friendly.

The main beach is shingle and there were not many people swimming in May as it is a bit chilly in the sea. But it is worth going to the beaches on the lagoon which are lovely, warmer and very safe for children.

I would definitely visit Olu Deniz again but I might go a little later to be sure of the weather.

Aurora Restaurant down the main street in Olu Deniz. Very friendly and fun people working there and usually a musician. The waiters will get you up dancing so beware ;o)

Great- simple as that. We have a villa in Dalaman and have been going for the last 6 years. Every 3-4 years the locals say the heat is extreme- 45 degrees plus. We have experienced this heat! Most summers we go. it's 34 - 38 degrees: hot but bearable.
Octobers nice- low 80's gives you the chance to do things you can't do in June/July and August.

Great. Dalaman quiet and a real slice of rural Turkish life. Dalyan is on the river and is lovely. Loads of restaurants, and great bars. Can view the local loggerhead turtles-they're massive!

Dalaman for real Turkish life. The market every Thursday is unbelievable, you wil not get nicer fresh fruit and veg. Gocek for an upmarket treat; still not too expensive but this resort is on one of the biggest marinas in the area; all the mega yachts come here. We saw the 10 biggest yachts in the world a few years ago and celebs are known to visit the lovely cars and restaurants on the sea front.

Weather was great, by the pool everyday in the sunshine.. Night time was breezy but still quite humid.

The sun stayed out a majority of the day overall it was the best weather I've seen on a holiday especially at this time of year.

The holiday was excellent, not expensive food was good, staff at hotel were lovely, day trips had so much fun. Night life was great.

Hotel was spotless and sooo freindly... Would definately recomment the Ideal Pearl Marmaris!!

Cleopatra Island!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most beautiful place I have ever seen we had lunch on a boat that brought us to this island. When we arrived near everyone was diving off the boat into the clear sea. So much fun and very interesting historical place!

We went in july 2007 the weather was around 40 degrees.
it was very hot in the day just about barable
but in the night it was gorgeous.
Everyday it was constantly warm but I came back with a good tan . I would reccomend to go in May which is when I am going !!

My holiday was amazing ,I went to a place called Turunc and the town there is so nice : it's not a clubby sort of thing ,its more of a family and pieceful place there are some good bars and restaurants though and great entertainment .
They do 5 Bay cruise which is brilliant and the people are very friendly they don't hassle you . I don't reccomend that you go to Mamaris : its very crowded and loud and they hassle you to go into shops and buy stuff which I hate. My sister nearly punched this guy out after he was trying to make her buy Turkish Delight .
My hotel was nice the bedrooms were great but there was nothing to do there exept go into a pool
I went to my Meric hotel :there wasnt really any entertainment but it said there was loads on the internet so dont always believe what you read. But I'm going again soon in the same area because we loved the location but in a different hotel called hotel Turunc , which I hope is nice but they have there own private beach and lots of entertainment hopefully !!

I reccomend that you go to the village Turunc its amazing town it's quiet and romamtic getaway : its beautiful the hotels are nice and its like a 2 minute walk to the town. the people are very friendly.
