Was in Fuengirola in October and loved it, going back in January for a month so hoping it will be warm, people are very friendly, lots of good places to eat and lovely beaches

Have traveled the world but Costa is the place to be in autumn/winter for us middle-aged retirees. The weather while we were there this year was very good compared to Britain. Between 13deg and 18deg and great to sit at a cafe watching the world go by in the sunshine.
Holiday
We stayed at The Melia which was lovely and the breakfast deicious with every food imaginable, even bubbly. Walked along the prom from Torremolinos to Benalmadena, caught the bus to Malaga. There were several restaurants and shops open in the town, but it wasn't crowded. We had a really relaxing break as valentines treat. The trains and buses run frequently, making the cost negligable for travel.

Fantastic. Climate second to none.
Holiday
Great; if you cant enjoy the Costa del Sol then you have a problem. Everything for everyone; good bars; restaurants etc; night life or tranquil if you so desire; golfers paradise; sun worshippers; very friendly, Spanish people welcome you with a smile. Great beaches, fine wines and cuisine. Give it a try; You wont go anywhere else!

Two days off and on it rained, and when it did it rained by the bucket load so carry a brolly or duck for cover! Didn't let it spoil the holiday as for 5 days the sun came out and it was glorious and not too hot as it was only April.
Holiday
Stayed in Los Boliches. The beaches were brilliant, the nightlife was as tranquil as you want or as rowdy as could be - it's your choice!
Go self catering or eat out, from good honest fish and chips through to Tapas, Mexican, curries, chinese etc...but no McDonalds, it shut down!

Over the years have travelled throughout Europe and the USA but have always gone back to the Costa del Sol-
Ok there are parts that are very commercialised but if like me that is not your scene then there are plenty of lovely unspoilt beaches and typical Spanish villages that have yet to be discovered by the average tourist!
Shan't name then cos then they would be taken over by tourists and I can be selfish and want to keep them to myself!
We have always had wonderful times.the food is fantastic-the Spanish food that is-forget Mcdonalds etc What's the point of going abroad if not to try the local delicacies.
People are friendly and the weather is usually perfect for sunworshippers right thru to mid November.
Plenty for all ages to see and do.
Try Gibralter or Grenada for day trips and also Tivoli world and the aqua park for the young at heart.Holiday
