The weather was exceptionally warm for the time of year, averaging 22-23 degrees c, with very little cloud and no rain.

Holiday

It was so relaxing. The time of year was conducive to the peace and tranquility, as the climate was out of the ordinary - even by Cypriot standards.
Although the local amenities were quite hit and miss regarding their opening hours, there were sufficient shops in the vicinity to satisfy most needs and desires.

If you preferred to avoid the traditionally expensive hotel shops, Paphos Town is only a short and inexpensive bus ride away (Very regular buses), where you could easily spend most of your stay, if you sought a more activity based holiday.

I would recommend the Seriani Restaurant. The food was so good we ate there for 10 of the days we were there. Had breakfast there the day we departed 1st class.

The weather was absolutely beautiful reaching 29 degrees by the end of the week phew !

Holiday

Villa and pool was fabulous. As it was early season there were only 2 local restaurants open which we didn't try because they weren't very inspiring for differing reasons.
We preferred to walk into town of an evening to eat (about 15/20 mins, although there is a regular bus service) as there was a bigger selection of restaurants.

Buses were frequent and very cheap. We went into Paphos Harbour a couple of times to eat and shop and just wander around.

I cant really comment on the night life as we are all a little bit over clubbing ....

Phaphos Harbour and we also visited the so called Tombs of the Kings which were very interesting and well worth a visit.

Sunshine every single day. Temperatures I'm told were in the mid 70's rising to the low 80's as the week went on. If I hadn't been told that would have said it felt more like high 80's plus. Never a cloud in the sky & not at all humid. Perfect.

Holiday

We had a relaxing holiday at the 4 star Crown Resorts Horizon. Food was great, room was comfortable and we loved the pool area. Evening entertainment in the hotel was very amateur and consisted of a lot of bingo. Despite not being impressed with this we did really like the hotel and will be returning.

Take an organised excursion into Northern Cyprus for the day.Very pretty and quite different from the South.

The weather was warm and sunny, with a temperature of about 28degrees. It can get quite hot in the afternoon but the breeze from the sea makes it bearable, it was a little cooler in the evenings but still nice enough to walk around in t-shirts. We went in early May, so it was pleasant as it can get very hot later on in the year.

Holiday

It was our first holiday too Cyprus and it was absolutely lovely, everything we could have imagined and possibly more! The hotel was comfortable, clean and friendly with lovely breakfast and lunch. We were half board so we swapped our evening meal for the lunchtime as we wanted to go out in the evening and have a few drinks and eat later. We stayed at Crown Resort Horizon. The drinks are very expensive if you are going half board but just outside the grounds is the nightlife and it is very reasonable eg: the hotel lager would be 4.5 euros a pint where as Blazing Saddles, (brill bar) would be 2 euros. Also the meals in this bar are yummy, try the mexican burgers, its a must have! The people in Cyprus are friendly here. The holiday and hotel was so nice that we are going back this Saturday June 5th can't wait!!!

We went to the zoo this is really really good and worth seeing, but be warned! The bus only comes every 2-3hrs so if you want to plan your day get a timetable. We went at half eleven and the next bus back was half 2. Also Paphos town. The bus journey is great from Coral Bay, all you do is pay 2 euro and you can go wherever you want between Coral Bay and Paphos. Watch out for the ticket touts, they can be a nuisance. The beaches are clean and welcoming, it is a lovely walk down from the hotel to the beaches.
