Weather

The weather was fabulous as usual, long hot sunny days and warm evenings.

Holiday

Our holiday was perfect in every way
The family who own and run New Kydonia are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. They keep the apartment complex spotless and the apartments too, newly renovated the place looks 5*+ .
Restaurant on site is fantastic with home made cooking, tasty and presented with thought, constantly good quality and a lot of produce home grown or sourced locally.

Places Recommended

We visited Falasarna beach which is stunning but don't go on a windy day!
The venetian port is a gem and inland to Therisso driving through a gorge and then up and over to Zourva and Meskla.
Mostly we chilled by the amazing pool at new Kydonia

Weather

We had great weather as every day it was hot and sunny, not a cloud in the sky.
Villa Eleni where we stayed in Horafakia had every thing that we could need and we were able to cool off with the much needed air-conditioning or take a dip in their lovely, cool swimming pool.

Holiday

It was great, we stayed with Cretan Villa Holidays at the Olive Grove Villas in Akrotiri. a first class villa with a fabulous pool.
Fantastic beaches at Stavros, Tersanas & Kalathas.
Good Greek food.
Nightlife was limited to the tavernas - some had a little live music, which was nice. No nightclubs which suited us just fine.

Places Recommended

Chania is a great place to spend a couple of your evenings as there are so many good places to eat around the harbour area. Nice litttle shops too.
Akrotiri beaches were lovely.
Ancient Aptera - very interesting.
