The weather was warm and sunny for the whole week

Holiday

The Hotel Samoa was ok, fairly basic but clean and comfortable.
The food was ok but I ate out a few times as there are some lovely restaurants in the resort.
The beaches are soft white sand and very clean.
Calas de Mallorca has a very relaxed atmosphere.
Away from the razzmatazz of some of the bigger resorts. Ideal for peace and relaxation.
I like the resort so much I have booked again for this year, October 2014.
This time in the 4* Hotel America which is right on the beach.

Places Recommended

Cala D'or is not far to the south and Porto Cristo to the north where the Caves Of Drach are situated.
The concert on the underground lake is magical.

Weather was hot; was there for 10 days and only two days there was a breeze. Had two children under five, who coped very well considering

Holiday

Loved it. Had read bad reviews, but was very impressed with what we got for the money we paid. Plenty to do and entertainment was good. We preferred the Balmoral for night entertainment as outside, the main hotel was like a tin of sardines packed in. Although a good thing- bar queue went down quickly.

Only bad thing i could say about hotels is the under 4 kids club: only left my 3 1/2 year old in for 15 minutes as was watching, but animation women never interacted with my girl or other kids. Would recommend the kids' club for 5-8 yr olds as Taylor was fab, as were all other members of animation team

Only went to beach on one day but that was for half an hour as the girls didn't like the sand. Stayed in resort as other guests were very friendly and girls met loads of other kids their own age to play with. Never had to use kids' club apart from one morning
