Weather
For the first time in 28 years September was too hot and humid. 32 degrees plus every day I was there and our swimming pool was like normal bath temperature.
I was there in May 2014 and had beautiful weather.
Holiday
I have had a holiday apartment there for 28 years and am really sad at how the area has deteriorated. Dirty streets with fast food and containers just left on pavements, many piles of dog mess which is never cleaned up or collected by owners in Spain.
Cabo Roig main beach is OK but the smaller one is never properly cleaned and badly needs some good golden sand which is in abundance at nearby beaches of Campoamor and Mil Palmyras.
Nearly all the shops are Chinese owned and their never ending "massage" and "tattoo" people invade the beach. The Spanish owned shops and restaurants have disappeared.
This used to be a wonderful upmarket area but not any more with all the building that has been allowed with no regard to appearance as some are just plain ugly and highly coloured.
The coastal path is still blocked by Bellavista who have locked gates preventing what is supposed to be a continuous path. This breaks all Spanish laws.
I will not be spending much time in Cabo Roig in the future.

The holiday has been perfect. Lovely beaches, fair selection of bars and restaurants although quite a few are closed Jan/Feb.

Weather
Having left dreary, cold Ireland and arrives in wonderful heat in Alicante, in July 2012, I could not praise the climate in Cabo Roig enough. It is idyllic. Beautifully warm and sunny, minus oppressive humidity.
Holiday
Our holiday in July 12 was all any family could ask for. Really relaxing, safe, family friendly, fantastic weather...cannot wait to revisit Cabo Roig. Watch out for jelly fish...we had an incident of a bitten toe...very painful!!
The restaurants in Cabo Roig are many and varied, and generally very good. They have menus to suit all budgets.
The courtesy bus to the Go Karting was a good diversion on one evening. It is an added bonus to be taken somewhere for free!!
Places Recommended
We did little but lounge on beach and eat out on Cabo RoigStrip. Numerous good restaurants, most notably, The Italian AffaIr, Beef or Salmon, Gourmet Burger. The market on a Thursday morning is really good, selling all types of food, fruit, vegetables, meat and trinkets, clothes, shoes etc.

Weather
Went in June 2011 and the weather was brilliant for holidaying.
Hot every day - in the low-30s I believe - so sun protection was a must but dry climate means it is not stifling.
Sleeping was a bit of a problem as temperatures were still in the low-20s at night. We had to keep a fan on most nights.
Holiday
We hire a private villa and ate in mostly, but it was well situated for the beach, spacious and comfortable.
Places Recommended
Los Alcazares, La Manga strip, Playa Flamenca market on a Saturday morning (massive and they sell all sorts of stuff)
