    Bintan, Indonesia, is a tropical island destination in the Riau archipelago just across the Singapore Strait from Singapore. Its tropical location results in essentially two different seasons in Bintan: the wet northeast monsoon season and the drier southwest monsoon season. Built in the 18th century by a Dutch pastor, this small historic site lies about twenty minutes from Trikora Beach on the island's east coast. The site consists of several large Mary sculptures, the "Stations of the Cross" and the St. Mary Cave itself.
