If you enjoy getting close to nature then Bangkok is home to one of the largest aquariums in the world. Sea Life Bangkok is ideal for getting away from the soaring heat of the outdoors. April's main event is the Phra Padaeng Songkran Festival, which is the official Buddhist New Year and the highlight is a huge water fight in the city centre so only attend if you're prepared to get wet!
