Playa de los Genoveses is a perfect horseshoe bay with shallow water. It is still off the beaten track and undeveloped, which makes it a great respite from the crowds as well as the heat. You won't find sunbeds or other facilities here--that honour lies in the nearby town of San Jose.

Playa del Canuelo

Playa del Canuelo is a small beach with a hip vibe and crystal clear waters. Swimwear is optional but snorkeling is definitely recommended--you won't want to miss the beautiful underwater sights here.

In Montoro, to the north of Cadiz, the Feria y Fiestas En honour a Nuestra Senora La Virgen de Rosario is held every October, and honours the town's patron saint. It boasts numerous traditionally-Spanish entertainment such as flamenco dancing and bullfighting, as well as concerts and a special lunch. 

Other Things to do

Nearby are the town of Huelva and the El Portil tourist centre, and the beaches of the Costa de la Luz offer opportunities for sunbathing, windsurfing and sailing. The Parke Aquopolis Carteya offers water-based entertainment including numerous water slides.
