Weather

The weather was sunny and warm with low humidity levels. Evenings remain warm until very late but there is always a cooling breeze. The beach can get windy.

Holiday

Akyaka is a beautiful resort with a safe, clean beach and excellent restaurants and cafes. The area is one of immense natural beauty and historical interest. The town is family-friendly with plenty of places to eat and relax. Night-life is limited but if you are looking for an excellent meal and a pleasant stroll by the beach afterwards - this is your place.
Kite surfing and fishing/boat trips are readily available.

Weather

My husband and I went with our 16 year old daughter to Akyaka for the last 2 weeks in June last year and the weather was wonderfull.

We had never been there before, we were on the beach every day, it was very warm but not to hot that you couldnt sit in it, just perfect heat.

Holiday

It was a lovely village, all the people were very polite and friendly and so helpful. I would recommend this small village to my friends and family and who ever else wants to go.

We are going back the end of May this year for 10 days.

The night life isnt that great but you could still sit and have a quiet drink and still enjoy yourself .

Places Recommended

We went in to Marmaris for the day, its about 35 minutes up the road by bus. We enjoyed it their but was glad to get back to the village for the quietness.

Marmaris is like a very warm Blackpool, very busy, the shops were great, they are all fake but some were very good .

I visisted Akyaka in September last year and the weather was perfect everyday - around 30-32 degrees.

Holiday

Akyaka is a small resort with a wonderful beach and lovely shallow water ideal for swimming.

There are plenty of restaurants to choose from but the nightlife is very low key.

The place itself is where 2 rivers join the sea and so you have the advantage of river boats and riverside restaurants as well as the traditional Gulets.

I am returning again this September.

Very unspoilt and traditional for a laid back holiday.

The people were very friendly and helpful.
