Weather
Weather is always fantastic there.
Have been there for holidays for past few years and loved it every time.
Always sunny but a lovely soft breeze from the sea.
Holiday
Fantastic Holiday.
Akbuk is a quaint Turkish village with many fantastic eateries along the front.
The sunsets are amazing and the locals are so helpful and polite.
Places Recommended
Great places to eat are Covent Garden, Sultan, Linmam Cafe, Pasa, to name but a few.
Highest standard of food and service everywhere.
Great place to sit and chill, watch the sunset or stroll along the beachfront and harbour.
Yasmin Gardens is a fantastic complex to stay on.

Weather
Clear and hot everyday; the beauty of Akbuk is the lovely gentle breeze you occasionally get from the surrounding hills and pine forests.
Holiday
Amazing! I've been twice now: once in May 2010 and also in July/August 2011.
Akbuk is renowned for its fresh air, sunsets by the Marina and its lovely long walks along the promenade. The building work that appears to be going on at the moment leads me to believe it's going to become very popular with lots of supermarkets being built etc. There are no tall buildings and I believe no building work whatsoever is allowed in the summer months; it's very peaceful and the locals are very friendly and helpful.
I stayed at a lovely complex called M Pyramid Resort, which has 2 huge pools and is about a 20 minute walk to the marina and beach.
Places Recommended
Akbuk Market on a Friday is massive and very noisy, but a fantastic experience, especially for children! (Look out for the crates of chicks and ducks for sale.)
Take water and sun cream with you as it can get very hot, but keep hold of your child's hand as it is crowded. There are places in the market to sit and have a local kebab and cold drink.
I found Celebi restaurant to be the most pleasurable place to eat, with a good range of food and service but there are lots of other places to choose from. You cannot go to Akbuk without going on a boat trip (or 4 in my case); they leave at 10am returning at around 5. Cost was either £12 or £15 for adults, with children half price (I think 3 or under go free). This included lunch, with the option to buy drinks on board. The boats stop off at 3 or 4 places throughout the trip where you can jump off the boat to cool down, snorkel and attempt to catch clams (the skipper will prepare these for you to eat).

Weather
I visited Akbuk & the weather was glorious- mid 20's to 30's. Also we visited once in the month of May which was equally fabulous.
Holiday
Each time we visit we fall in love with the village. The bay is stunning & the harbour front with the mountains all around are such lovely surroundings.
The village is changing slowly with the times which adds to the quaintness of the place. However new businesses are opening each year showing how well the economy is doing out here, especially out of the Euro zone too.
We found a fabulous place called Summer Breeze to stay: this is just a 5 minute walk from the Bay & a local dolmus bus ride from the main town. Summer Breeze is closely associated with a company in the Akbuk village called Alkhaja & in our experience, when we popped in they gave us all the information we needed from directions, eating places, prices to expect etc... which can truly make a huge difference as new folks in the area.
Meals in the evenings near the harbour watching the amazing sunsets sinking into the sea was unforgettable.
Places Recommended
Ephaseus Temple.
Dalaman boat trip.
Akbuk/Altinkum daily boat trips with swimming around the bay.
Kusadasi day trip with local market a cruise ship location & Bodrum- a beautiful marina front area.
