Weather

We are regular visitors here as our son lives here.The change over the years is extraordinary from our first visit here in 1976 and Abu Dhabi fast becoming like Dubai though we much prefer Abu Dhabi and it's pretty corniche and warm welcome offered.

Temperature was around 28' to 30' and very little humidity.It did rain one day which was very unusual for that time of year.We go in November again.

As ever lots to do but we enjoy going to the beach ,a few around now and all so clean and services offered e g refreshments and friendly staff and lifeguards.Also reasonaly priced to access beaches and good to have family beaches offering many water activities.

The Water Park is a great asset to Abu Dhabi,clean,well organised and so much to do around water and although we are pensioners we still go on some of the rides!!
A visit to the Grand Mosque is a must it is so beautiful and inside you can contemplate and feel the quietness surrounding this magnificent place of worship.Women have to wear the abaya over their own clothes as a mark of respect.

Afternoon tea at the Emirates Palace is a must for first time visitors,though expensive it is worth it to walk around and see the opulence of the Hotel and the staff are friendly,helpful and obliging.

The open top bus do if you only have a short time here at least you get a feel of the geography of Abu Dhabi.Take the local bus rather than taxis,again.

clean.reliable ,cheap and pleasant helpful staff.Lots of places to eat out rather expensive and avoid very expensive hotel restaurants!!
