Things to do in Thassos in October
October is the time of the year when the grapes are being harvested to make some of the best wine to be found in Greece.
Honey is also available from the bee hives located throughout the island. At the end of October, the olive harvest is brought in.
Many visitors choose to take advantage of the beautiful weather in October by touring one of the many olive groves and/or checking out the grape orchards. Wine tasting is a possibility and many visitors are delighted to discover that Thassos wine has a pleasantly fruity apple taste like unlike any other.
