Puerto de Pollensa is located in the north of Majorca in a bay sheltered by the Tramuntana mountain range. With a mild Mediterranean climate, the resort is especially popular during the summer months, but has something to offer all year round. Winter is much quieter in Puerto de Pollensa, which is preferential for some travellers. With less visitors than the busy summer season, February is a great time to do some sight-seeing away from the crowds.

As it's still officially winter, the weather in Puerto de Pollensa in February is much like the weather in January. The temperatures are still low for Spain, with an average temperature of 9°C throughout the month and a low temperature of 4°C at night, so it's recommended to pack a jacket and some warmer clothes. If you're lucky, temperatures can sometimes reach highs of 14°C towards the end of February. There's an average of 5 hours of sunshine a day though, and with only a 9% chance of a cloudy day, you should be able to enjoy a bit of sun throughout February in Puerto de Pollensa. Visitors to the resort should expect some rain too. Puerto de Pollensa sees about 12 wet days throughout the month of February, with a 30% chance of rain every day. The amount of rain is low though, at just 35mm, so it is likely to be drizzle and light showers rather than heavy rainfall.

While Puerto de Pollensa has a beautiful long, sandy beach, it may be a little cold and wet to really take advantage of it in February. It isn't the best time to take a dip in the sea either, with average sea temperatures of just 14°C, the lowest of the year alongside March.

Despite the lower temperatures and chance of rain, Puerto de Pollensa is still a great holiday destination at this time of the year, with the mild Mediterranean climate providing a preferable alternative to the cold British winter.
