Palma Nova Weather June Averages, Spain
June is the height of summer in Palma Nova. High temperatures climb from 25°C on June 1 to 29°C by June 30. The length of the day remains essentially the same, with around 14:50 hours of sunlight daily. The sun rises around 6:25AM and sets around 9:15PM.

Hotel Son Matias Beach (Duque de Extremera 2) is a modern, 4-star hotel that caters to mature, adults-only crowd. Each one of its 135 rooms are equipped with balcony, mini fridge, telephone, A/C, heating, radio, satellite TV, and safe. Rooms for the disabled are on request. Facilities include jacuzzi, sun terrace, pool bar, swimming pool and restaurant that serves typical Mallorcan cuisine and traditional British dishes.
June sees the summer weather come into full effect and so it is a great time of the year to visit if you want to take advantage of the sandy beaches and Mediterranean climate. Palma Nova has three beaches, the main one being Palma Nova beach. As well as having a Blue Flag Award for cleanliness, the beach is family friendly (thanks to the gently sloping sands and shallow water) and is lined with restaurants. Swimming, snorkelling and SCUBA diving are all popular activities that can be done off the beaches June. Visitors will have plenty of opportunity to take part in diving tours and expeditions.
Palma Nova is also famous for its Paseo Maritimo Coastal Promenade, where both locals and tourists can walk and enjoy the scenery and at the same time check out the long line of souvenir shops and stores parallel to the beach.
Other beaches include Son Maties and Es Carregador. Playa de Son Maties is the main beach, with sunbeds, umbrellas and showers. This beach is a 600-metre stretch of fine sand, good for enjoying water activities like boating or windsurfing. Es Carregador is a small cove with a protected swimming spot. Here is where you can find all the bars and nightclubs.
Saffron Desi (Paseo del Mar 16) offers authentic Indian food, with flavourful and spiced dishes to order. Great recommendations from locals on the curries, jalfrezi, poppadoms and more.
Zen Lounge Bar and Grill (Son Matias Beach) offers a selection of grill delights like fish, calamari, fajitas, and a wide range of cocktails and beer.
Il Vicolo (Paseo del Mar 16) serves superb, authentic Italian food like pasta, bruschetta, and baked aubergine. The menu is limited but uncomplicated and freshly prepared. Part of the restaurant's charm lies in the rustic decor. A friendly stop on the seaside.
Palma Nova is a resort town located near the city centre of Mallorca. It's a popular tourist destination as it's equipped with a number of entertainment establishments and family friendly venues like their famous water parks.
Quite a few festivals happen in June and visitors can enjoy many of them during their stay. One of them is Saint Pere Day, a festival in honour of the patron saint of the fishermen of the island. It usually takes place late in the month in Palma de Majorca which is about 17km (10 miles) from Palma Nova proper. The biggest attraction of the festival is a boat procession in which many of the boats of the fishing fleet are decked out and paraded by on the sea.
