What's the weather like in Olu Deniz in December

Temperature

Oludeniz Beach

You will find Oludeniz Beach (also known as Oludeniz Blue Lagoon) just outside the town of Fethiye which is wedged in the valley. The beach is known for its stunning views and with no nearby clubs or venues, it makes the ultimate secret and peaceful getaway. Those of you who are thrill seekers can take a short journey up the nearby Babadag Mountain for a paragliding experience. Datca Peninsula
Datca Peninsula is a 50 mile round trip. It is a nice one-day long trip, where you can travel in very picturesque mountainous landscape, see ruins of the ancient town of Knidos on the western hill or swim in the beautiful beaches on the southern side. Some of the beaches include Beach Kovanlık which is found near Aktur, Beach Domuzini which is south-east of the peninsula. These stunning beaches are fairly small and are tucked away around the cliff faces along the coastal paths of the peninsula.

Olu Deniz Sultan Spa

During the cold and wet month of December you need to plan a few things to do indoors for when the weather is truly bad. One such place is the Olu Deniz Sultan Spa. Be properly pampered and relax in the hands of professional masseurs. Note that if you enter the hammam, you can wear swimsuits or a thin towel, but the authentic experience is to go in naked. Marmaris

Another great thing to do at this time of year is visit the nearby cities. The cities in the province of Mugla, where Olu Deniz is, are built on older, ancient settlements and offer plenty of historical sites and museums to visit. Marmaris is one of the most beautiful resorts in Turkey. If you visit Marmaris you should visit the Datca Peninsula and soak up stunning views of the gorgeous mountains and sea views. The landscape is breathtaking and well worth the hike.

Ancient Site Of Kaunos

n the nearby city of Dalyan you can visit the ancient site of Kaunos. This ancient city has a 3000-year long history. There isn't much left standing, but the serene environment makes the trip worthwhile. It is close enough to the city, too, so if the weather takes a turn for the worst you can be back at your hotel in no time.
