    Jandia Weather for May 2020

    Jandia is located on a peninsula on the south coast of the island of Fuerteventura in Spain's Canary Islands. May brings moderate warmth accompanied by dry weather. Therefore, it is a prime time for outdoor activities.

Another favorite place to dine is Restaurante La Farola del Mar. Additionally, there are restaurants that serve Italian, German, Spanish and American foods on the peninsula.

    Jandia also has some great lounges and clubs for those who want to partake of the nightlife while on holiday. There are discos, lounges that have live entertainment and various beverages and appetizers for a fun and memorable night out.

Of course, diving, sailing, jet skiing, windsurfing and swimming are popular because of the beautiful clear sea.  A popular attraction located just east of Morro Jable, the Subcat Submarine takes guests on an underwater trip to visit a submarine that enables magnificent views of ocean life, such as angel sharks, stingrays and fish.

    During May, the Cruces de Mayo Festival is held throughout Fuerteventura, which includes the "Festival of the Crosses" where competitions are held, which involve decorating crosses with flowers. This popular Spanish tradition has been carried over to the Channel Islands because of their political ownership by Spain.
