During October, although the daily weather remains dry, hot and sunny, temperatures in Dahab begin to cool off significantly and many venues for entertainment and festivals start to re-open after a break over the hot summer months. However, the heat may still be too much for some, especially after significant exposure to the sun. Daytime temperatures reach an average maximum of 31 degrees, while the temperature typically falls to 23 degrees overnight. It is a good time of year for diving and snorkelling as sea temperatures average a balmy 27 degrees.
