What's The Weather Like In Cornwall In March
As the calendar moves from winter into spring, a slow warm up begins in and around Cornwall. While not as warm as other areas in and around Europe, there is a small tick upward in temperatures as they begin a slow march toward their warmest numbers of the year. March is also a wet month, but a significant drying trend is just around the corner beginning in April. This can be a great time to travel to the region as most tourists won't arrive until later in the year and there can be deals found for hotels and flights.
Because this is still a rainy time of the year, it is important to examine an extended forecast before leaving home. Since over two-thirds of the month experiences rainy conditions, be sure to pack rain boots as well as other rain gear.
Rain is expected on an average of 22 days out of the month and some of it can be heavy at times. The heavier rain will be associated with thunderstorms produced by passing frontal systems. In all, 100mm of precipitation is expected over the course of the month.
