    Cork Weather for June 2022

    In the month of June Cork has a median temperature of 55° (13°) with daytime temperatures generally reaching 63°F (17°) and lows dipping to 48°F (9°C) at night, so be prepared with a warm jacket. 

    Average sea temperature is 57.2°F (14°C) and rain falls at a median level of 68mm (2.68") over a period of 15 days.  Umbrellas should be part of your accessories even in June.

    June is the month when the Cork Midsummer Festival will be held beginning on the 21st until July 1st.  It is a multi-faceted celebration featuring local, national and international events in the realms of theatre, dance music, opera, visual arts and street arts.  There is also an extensive program of free events. 

    The Cork Summer Show is held by the Munster Agricultural Society on from June 15th 17th.  Here you can enjoy everything from equine events to home and garden demonstrations.  A free shuttle service is provided to and from Curraheen greyhound track.

    For those who enjoy sporting events, on June 2nd the Ocean to City Race will be held.  This is a 15 mile rowing race. The race begins at Crosshaven, continues through Cork Harbour and finishes on the River Lee at Lapps Quay in Cork City centre.
