What's the Weather like in Coral Bay in September

September is a beautiful time of year to visit Coral Bay. The resort, which is located at the southwestern end of the island country of Cyprus is still quite warm this time of year. Although temperatures have cooled down since August, they still remain higher than the average temperature in June. Additionally, the sea temperature is conducive for swimming and water sports.

Church of Agia Kyriaki

For those interested in historical tourism and architecture, the Church of Agia Kyriaki is a beautiful landmark. These ancient ruins have a rich history and sits on an archeological site. Peaceful and serene, this church offers Anglican & Catholic services, which is quite unusual. Visitors are welcome to view the church or attend a service free of charge. There are also mosaic floors and other ancient artworks to be viewed at this site.

Scuba Diving

For those more interested in outdoor adventure and water sports, this time of year is still great for scuba diving! The Coral Bay Diver's Club has everything you need to experience diving for the first time, regardless of age or ability. Fun for the whole family, the company offers full day trips and technical courses as well. With over a dozen diving sites to choose from, there are many opportunities to view the impressive underwater ecosystem surrounding coral bay. Non divers are also welcome on the trips and can partake in snorkeling.

Vouni Panayia Winery

For the wine connoisseur, Vouni Panayia Winery may also be a fun day trip. Offering excellent wine tasting and cheese pairings, the winery also hosts tours of the grounds and wine making process. They have a plethora of wines and impressive views. The tour lasts a little under an hour and afterwards visitors are welcome to taste many different wines. Combining the beautiful landscape with local wine, this is a must see destination for alternative travel and wine lovers.
