Roman Bar Restaurant serves authentic Turkish food with a selection of beers and wines. Inside you will find a bar style atmosphere but you can sit outside on the terrace and watch the street life. They show a number of sporting events such as English football on a large screen TV in the bar and these screenings are always popular. The prawns, kebabs and English style breakfast fry-up are famous in Belek. You will find them in Cumhuriyet Caddesi.
Aspendos is a Roman ruin that is a very short drive from Belek. The amphitheatre seats 13000 people and it is so well preserved that they still hold concerts and operas there. The site has a viaduct and a few other small ruins. The nearby river contains terrapins which should amuse children who are bored with looking at Roman ruins. There are no closed off sections at this site so you can climb to the top of the amphitheatre and look out at the amazing view.
