If you can't wait to try out some water sports, visit the Central beach at Playa del Carmen. Things to Do in Riviera Maya in March

Punta Laguna Nature Reserve

Families and couples will have a great time at the Punta Laguna Nature Reserve near the Gulf Coast. Set in a large nature reserve, this park covers 5,000 hectares and features zip lines, rappels and lagoons. Most people visit in the morning, so if you plan your trip for around 2pm, you'll have the park almost to yourself. There are a number of guides to be found throughout the site who are happy to take groups on tours of the best parts of the reserve.

Chaak Tun

If you'd like to see more natural attractions, visit Chaak Tun in Playa del Carmen to see one of the best underground cave networks in Riviera Maya. Here you'll find a number of jungle paths leading to caverns and lagoons which are perfect for swimming, snorkeling and diving. If you want to go on a guided tour, it's best to visit around 3pm after most of the visitors have already left. This way you will have plenty of time to explore the cenotes at your own pace.
