Temperatures in Playa del Ingles in December are towards the lower end of the scale, averaging 19°C, However, with overnight lows of just 16°C and daytime highs reaching a balmy 21°C, it is certainly a good deal warmer than a typical British December. Why not spend Christmas on the beach this year?

CC Cita is another shopping complex, home to the Austrian-inspired Cafe Wien. Specialising in coffee and cake, it's the perfect spot for a sit down after a busy day exploring the shops. The cozy venue offers outdoor seating for the warmer months, too. If you're up early enough, head down for one of their generously portioned breakfasts, including fresh Brötchen eggs.
Argentina is known for producing some of the world's most succulent steaks, so if you're a meat lover, Grill El Asador is the place for you. With top quality cuts of beef imported from Argentina, this restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. It proudly offers professional service and a fine selection of red wines to wash down your red meat.
Things to do in Playa del Ingles in December
In preparation for Christmas, visit the Yumbo Shopping Centrum to pick up some unique presents for family and friends back home. It's known as one of the best shopping venues in the area with well over 200 different shops.
Travellers can pick up almost anything here, such as candles from Candle Paradise, footwear from Isoli Italian Shoes and video games from Videotron Electronics. There are plenty of tattoo shops here, as well as numerous restaurants and cafes for refreshments.
Wonder at the fascinating world beneath the sea on a glass-bottomed boat with Lineas Blue Bird. Located in the picturesque fishing village of Puerto de Mogan, a 17 mile drive from Playa del Ingles, the company has been operating for 40 years. Board one of their glass-bottomed ferries for the chance to view the coastal cliffs and resorts along the south of the island and enjoy a special stop to observe the marine wildlife residing below the waves. There is a wide choice of daily departure times, with one-way and return tickets to the destination of your choice.
