What's the weather like in Playa de Fanabe in August

August and September are actually the two warmest months out of the year for Playa de Fanabe. The dry conditions continue this month making it a popular one for vacationers. As a result, visitors may need to be prepared to pay a little more for flights, hotels and activities.

Temperature

The average temperatures continue to climb in both the early morning hours as well as the afternoon. Overall, the average daily temperature is a pleasant 24°C (75°F). With the moderating effects of the nearby ocean, the average overnight low only falls to 21°C (70°F). In the daytime hours, the temperatures will quickly climb to 27°C (81°F). With such warm temperatures, it may be a good idea for guests to be sure their hotel room is equipped with air conditioning.

Rainfall

Visitors won't get any relief from clouds or rain as it continues to be dry during this time of the year. While the average rainfall is up from the previous month, the number days receiving rainfall stays the same at only 1 for the entire duration of the month. Playa de Fanabe Beaches for August

Waters in and around Playa de Fanabe during the month of August continues to warm by a few degrees. During this time of the year, water temperatures stand at 23°C (73°F). With only one day of rain in the month, this is an ideal time to hit the beach for some fun and sun. 

One of the best beaches in the region is Los Cristianos. This beach is perfect for families with small children as the sea is calm and there is a large shallow area perfect for swimming without having to worry about big surf.
