The menu features filet mignon, prime strip, ribeye and porterhouse steaks, as well as veal and lamb. There is also a wide selection of fish, seafood, caviar, salads and gluten-free options available for those not big on hearty chunks of meat. The drinks menu is extensive and features more than 1,200 wines and a small selection of cocktails.
The Halal Guys
For something a bit more casual, try The Halal Guys. This street food cart is located on the corner of 53rd Street and 6th Avenue and is open Sunday to Thursday 7pm-4am and Friday to Saturday from 7pm to 5pm.
The Halal Guys is primarily known for its platter which is made up of a generous serving of gyro bread, chicken, lamb, rice, salad and a secret white sauce. This one dish is so tasty and popular it's all they serve! Considering the high quality of the food and the low prices, the Halal Guys is one of the best value-for-money eateries in New York.

Things to do in New York in September
Morgan Library and Museum
The Morgan Library and Museum is a series of buildings originally founded to house manuscripts, printed books, prints and drawings owned by JP Morgan in 1906.
The library-museum was made public in 1924 and today holds a much more expansive collection which includes Medieval and Renaissance manuscripts, literary and historical manuscripts, printed music, ancient seals and tablets, paintings, art objects, drawings, bindings and prints.
You can explore the museum of your own accord or follow a free self-guided audio tour which is given out on arrival and highlights the history and architecture of the building, as well as the permanent collections.
Guided group tours of the museum are also available if you book in advance. The Morgan Library and Museum is open Tuesday to Thursday 10.30am-5pm, Friday 10.30am-9pm, Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.
Ground Zero Catholic Memorial
One of the lesser-known 9/11 memorials in the city, the Ground Zero Catholic Memorial features four memorial statues dedicated to some of the groups affected by the events of that day St Joseph: the patron of construction workers, St Florian: the patron of fire fighters, St Michael the Archangel: the patron of police and St Mary Magdalene: first witness to the resurrection.
The four statues are located along the eastern wall of St Joseph's Chapel, which is the closest wall to Ground Zero. Even if you're not religious, many travellers find this Catholic memorial very moving and worthy of a visit.
Rubin Museum of Art
Open 11am-5pm Mondays and Thursdays, 11am-6pm Saturdays and Sundays, 11am-9pm Wednesdays and 11am-10pm Fridays, the Rubin Museum of Art is dedicated to the preservation, collection and display of art from the Himalayas and surrounding areas, with a particular focus on Tibetan art.
In addition to the vast array of permanent exhibitions, temporary displays are also prominent in the museum during September 2015, "the Gateway to Himalayan Art and the Tibetan Buddhist Shrine Room" will be on display.
All visitors are provided with a free audio guide upon arrival but there are also free daily tours: the highlights tour at 3pm and the exhibition tours at 1pm and 4pm.
The museum is also home to the Café Serai during the day which offers traditional Himalayan food and the K2 Lounge at night which offers DJ sets and alcoholic drinks.
