August sees some of the peak summer weather in Milan. The temperatures are at their highest and there is plenty of sun to be seen throughout the month also. There are far more tourists in the city at this time of the year, who come in droves to enjoy the beautiful weather.

Visitors to Milan in August can expect an average daily temperature of around 24.5°C while highs can hit a steamy 30°C. It can feel even hotter though, as a result of Milan's notoriously high humidity. Low temperatures rarely ever drop below an average minimum temperature of 19°C, even at night, so visitors should be able to wear light clothing throughout their stay.

    Sunshine Hours

Milan is also one of the sunniest months of the year in Milan. There's an average of 8 hours of sunshine per day in the city throughout the month and a 27% chance of a sunny day.

Although the weather in Milan is beautiful in August, because of the heat and the crowds, some people prefer to visit the city outside of the summer, when the weather is less intense and there are fewer people around. If you are in Milan in August, though, be sure to protect yourself from the heat, bring sunscreen and keep yourself well hydrated.
