Mallorca Weather May Averages, Spain
May is the beginning of summer in Mallorca, and with that comes all the available summer activities one might expect.
The weather throughout this month and the next few will be hot and dry, exactly what tourists expect of a summer beach destination. Many of the year's 300 days of sunshine occur during these summer months.
May is the time of year that Mallorca's citizens celebrate Our Lady of Victory. This saint supposedly defended the town from the likes of pirates in 1561. Her bravery is celebrated every year in honour of those actions.
