Playa Diego Hernandez Beach
Playa Diego Hernandez Beach, between El Puerito and La Caleta, is only accessible by foot requiring a 45 minute hike through a nature preserve before reaching the bay. It is partially rock with some sand and, because of its remoteness, there is some nude sunbathing. There are no restaurants but there is a small Chinese grocery near a fishing village.
Playa Fanabe Beach
Playa Fanabe beach is on the southern coast of Costa Adeje. Although near the resorts, it is a quiet area but has many faculties such a umbrella and sunbed rentals, water-sports, and close to restaurants and bars. It also is wheel-chair accessible.

The Volcanic Islands, located on the roadside in Golf del Sur, is a European style steakhouse and bar which also features a family-friendly menu. Start with the bruschetta,and the special Volcanic Islands salad then try the spare ribs in barbecue sauce, rabbit, and German sausages.
Things to do in Golf del Sur in April
Golf Las Americas
Golf Las Americas, located in Playa de las Americas, is a golf course on the slopes of the hills protecting it from the prevalent winds of the island. Steams cross the fairways and there are several lakes. The club features state of the art, GPS aided, golf carts. It is easy to play nine holes in two hours but beware of the water hazards.
Piramide de Arona
Located in the city of Playa de las Americas, in the Piramide de Arona, are musical and dance performances including flamenco singers, dancers, and guitarists. Other appearances feature opera singers performing in Spanish. Recent shows have been by Carmen Mota and a flamenco version of the opera Rigoletto with great music and wonderful costumes. There is an intermission so children will be able to keep their interest.
Siam Water Park
The Siam Water Park, in Adeje, was built by Her Royal Highness the Princess of Thailand Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. There are many water slides suitable for all ages plus a wave pool for surfing and the Mai Thai River, a lazy river for rafting. There is also a river rapids ride and the park has the largest Thai building outside of Asia.
