To the west of Golf Las Americas you'll find the championship Golf Costa Adeje, characterised by incredible sea views and natural landscapes, is one of the most popular golf courses in the area, thanks to both its championship course and its golf school, meaning everyone from novices to pros can get a round in.
There are two courses to choose from here: one 18-hole par-72 course and one nine-hole par-33 course, so you can opt to play a long or short game. Dates for the diary
Every year on the 20th January, once mass is over, owners of horses, donkeys, goats and will parade, pull, herd or ride their animals to La Enramada beach and cajole them into the sea for a symbolic cleansing before being blessed by the local priest. The event is called Festival of San Sebastian and takes place in La Caleta. It's a fantastic sight and a fun event - don't miss it, and don't forget your camera!
