August is a fantastic time of the year to visit Malia.

The nearby Troodos Mountain range offers both exerting hikes and gentler walks, with the option to explore many of the traditional villages that reside there.

Dolphin spotting trips are popular with people of all ages and a great way to relax, unwind and see more of Crete's coastline.
