Things to do in Lisbon in April
Museu do Chiado
Museums abound in the city of Lisbon: there is something for everyone's taste available. The Museu do Chiado, housing their collection in an old warehouse, is located in the Chiado district. It's collection of paintings and sculptures are renowned throughout the world. The maritime history of the Portuguese can be seen in the Museu de Marinha. One section of the museum is dedicated to the history of shipbuilding.
Parque Das Nacoes
One of the world's largest aquariums, the Oceanarium, can be seen in Lisbon. The design is what makes it unique. Each habitat is separated by clear acrylic walls so that it appears all the sea life is interacting together. The exhibit is located by the Vasco da Gamma Bridge in the Parque Das Nacoes. There is a very nice garden and lawn area from where you have great views of the bridge and river.
Lisbon River Cruises
The Lisbon River Cruises run from April to October. The guides will pick you up at your hotel and transport you to the starting point along the Tagus River. The trip lasts two hours, passing by St. Georges castle, the Jeronimos Monastery and many other interesting sites.
