What's the weather like in Koh Tao in December?

Koh Tao is an island located in the Gulf of Thailand that's often called "Turtle Island" because of its shape. At just 21 km², the island is small but is a popular tourist destination thanks to its paradise-like surroundings and renowned diving spots, which are some of the best in the world.

Beaches in Koh Tao in December

With warm sea temperatures, sunshine and a decrease in rainfall, December is a perfect time to hit the beach. The only problem will be deciding which one to visit, as the island is blessed with many beautiful bays and beaches.

Hin Wong Bay

Hin Wong Bay is a great choice no matter what your preferred beach activity. The beach is quite secluded and isolated, so sunbathers can enjoy a peaceful ambience and plenty of space, while the clear and shallow waters are perfect for snorkelling.
