Playa de Garcey
A beach that is great with the locals is Playa de Garcey. This beach is actually the location of the wrecked American ship "American Star" which has long been removed. Without the attraction of a ship wreck, the presence of jellyfish and a strong current, you might find the beach quite empty. It is still a great area to fish and admire the natural surroundings.

Head to Los Pescaditos, a quaint British run café. Located in Corralejo this is a great option to for breakfast and drinks. You can sit and enjoy an English breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice and a coffee while taking in the views of the sea. Also a nice choice for lunch serving up items such as a chicken Caesar salad, jacket potato and a triple decker sandwich.
If you are looking for authentic Italian or a place to have a couple beers with mountain views, check out Punta Dell'Est in La Oliva. Providing a very relaxing vibe and welcoming to all, it is a great place to come after a day of sunbathing. Some options to consider are the seafood linguine, seafood soup and stuffed ravioli. Make sure to try their signature sangria as well.
Things to do in Caleta de Fuste in September
A fun activity for the whole family is taking a day tour with Corralejo Catamarans. There are daily departures to Lobos Island where you will cast anchor and will be allowed to swim in the clear waters. You will also have the option to kayak or sunbathe and relax on the water. Drinks are included and lunch is served before sailing around the island. At the end of the trip, a champagne toast awaits.

Your holiday is not complete without giving surfing a shot. A great place to learn is the Aloha Surf Academy Fuerteventura. Started by two surf enthusiasts, the staff here is friendly, fun and knows how to show you the ropes.
