The calm waters are fantastic for swimming, with soft white sand to chill out on.

Bistro 1909 is the place to go for an upmarket experience, situated in the Old Town. Here you can try different wines, enjoy delicious food, and fantastic service. This is a restaurant which locals flock to, which is always a good stamp of quality.

Alternatively, Bon Profit is a tapas restaurant which also offers a full menu too, with great pasta dishes and seafood to try.

Things to do in Alcudia in September

Alcudia Jazz Festival

September is indeed a wonderful time to visit Alcudia, because crowds are slightly less than the two peak months beforehand, and temperatures are still wonderful, although not stifling. This is a great time to get out and sightsee, and if you are in Alcudia during September then you can take part in the annual Alcudia Jazz Festival, fantastic for music fans. Alternatively, there is a beer festival in Palma throughout September.

Kite Mallorca

In Alcudia itself there is still plenty to keep everyone occupied in September, and if you have ever fancied trying your hand at kitesurfing, then Kite Mallorca offer high quality lessons with an experienced teacher, perfect for all abilities, from beginner to advanced. If you are an advanced surfer then you can hire equipment and head off on your own steam.

Fishing

Staying out on the open water, how about a spot of deep sea fishing? This is a great activity regardless of whether you have tried it before or not, because experienced guides will help you learn along the way. Fishing in Mallorca are specialised in giant Bluefin tuna fishing, and the waters around the island are hotspots for this particular type of fish. Families are more than welcome, with special equipment for children too.
