Averages for Ibiza in August

August is the height of the summer season in Ibiza! The sun is shining and the clubs and beaches are packed with people looking for some fun in the sun.

Daytime temperatures reach a very warm 29°C (84°F) and fall no lower than 22°C (71°F) in the evenings.

This means that you can explore Ibiza’s famous nightlife at your leisure in the balmy evening air.

The main clubs have guest DJs and specialist nights almost every night of the week so there is something to suit everybody’s taste. Head to Amnesia, Es Paradis, Pacha and Privilege for the best party atmosphere.

Although there are many areas you can go with the family, Ibiza at this time of year is mainly geared towards the younger nightclub crowd and as such can be extremely busy and noisy. It would be best to avoid the island at this time of year if this is not your scene!

However, no matter what your age and lifestyle, you will of course be spending a lot of time on one of Ibiza’s many beaches.

Talamanca is the closest beach to Ibiza town and is great for families as it is located next to lots of amenities such as cafes, shops, restaurants and toilets.

Those of you looking for a thrill can head to Playa d’en Bossa, San Antonio Bay and Cala Bassa and try your hand at some water sports such as water skiing and jet skiing. 

There is accommodation to suit every traveller’s need and budget in Ibiza.

Younger holiday makers looking for budget accommodation would be better off in one of the many apartment complexes such as Apartamentos Los Robles and Apartamentos Mariano.

Families can stay in quieter, comfortable accommodation such as Hotel Rocamar, while the big spenders can check out four star resorts such as Royal Plaza or Es Trull de Can Palau.
