The weather continues to cool down November in Cancun, Mexico, when the average temperature is around 25°C. Due to November falling at the beginning of the dry season, the average rainfall is much less at 97mm over five days, although the sunshine hours remains the same, at eight hours each day. Even though it’s winter, Cancun enjoys an average sea temperature of 28°C, making it the perfect time to spend a few hours at the beach during your holiday.

Things to do
Make the most of the dry weather by enjoying a round or two of golf at Iberostar Cancun Golf Course. This 18-hole par-72 course is almost 7,000 yards long and features tropical vegetation, sections of the Nichupte Lagoon and a selection of wildlife, including crocodiles, iguanas and exotic birds. As well as the golf course, there is also a number of facilities available for golfers to enjoy, such as pro shop, buggy rental and club house.
The Playboy Cancun Casino is a great place to visit if you’re looking for something to do on an evening. Although there is an entrance fee, it does include one drink and allows you unlimited access to the casino which is staffed by genuine Playbunnies. Like the popular casinos found in Las Vegas, the Playboy Cancun Casino is the ideal place to enjoy a cocktail, play a game of roulette or simply indulge in some people watching.
Hit the beach
If you’re looking for somewhere to try your hand at surfing, spend the day at Playa Gaviota Azul. Popular with both locals and tourists, this beach boasts huge waves which attract body boarders and surfers from all over the resort. Although the strong undercurrents are far too dangerous for regular swimming, the fine pale sands provide the ideal place to work on your tan. The beach at Yamil Lu’um is perfect for families and couples who start to get antsy sunbathing at the beach. Much more than a place to soak up the sun, this beach is also home to two Mayan structures – one temple and one lighthouse-lookout tower which are open to the public.
