Weather Averages for Sunny Beach in November
Averages for Sunny Beach in November
November is much cooler in Sunny Beach as the tourist season draws to a close and winter arrives. Many hotels, bars and restaurants close for the winter, but there is still plenty of accommodation to be found.
Daytime temperatures reach a high of about 13°C (55°F) and can fall to 6°C (43°F) in the evenings. November is also the wettest month of the year in Sunny Beach, so make sure you pack warm waterproof clothing.
Although the beach is the main attraction during the summer months, there is still plenty to see and do in the area in winter.
You can enjoy the coastline in a different way by taking a boat tour. These operate all year round and so you can explore more of Bulgaria’s stunning coast line and more secluded beaches. Keep in mind that some tours may be amended or cancelled in the event of bad weather.
The cooler temperatures mean this is a good time of year to take in some of the scenery inland. Hiking and cycling are popular in the hills around Sunny Beach, or you can hire a guide and go on a jeep safari to learn as much as you can about the wildlife of the area.
Though there is less choice in restaurants at this time of year, you can still find something for everybody, whether it is themed restaurants for children or high end romantic eateries.
Accommodation will be cheaper at this time of year and there is a wealth to choose from. The Palazzo Apartments are good for budget travellers who wish to self cater, and for those looking to splash out, you can head to the Majestic Hotel and Residence.
