Sunny Beach Hotels in September

September is a wonderful time to visit Sunny Beach, with still very warm temperatures and plenty to do. There is also a wide range of accommodation on offer during this time, with all-inclusive options to choose from, such as Bellevue Hotel, which offers a central base for your break, with everything you could need on hand. Alternatively, you could opt for a half board option, giving you a halfway point, and the Lion Sunny Beach Hotel is a good go-to in that case.

Esperanto Hotel is a popular choice, very close to the main beach, and offering a budget place to stay for those wanting comfort without a huge price tag.

Sunny Beach Beach for September

Heading off and exploring the Black Sea Coast's beautiful beaches is certainly something to be recommended, and just north of Kiten, you will find Atliman Beach. If you want to see the beauty of nature in its purest form then this is where you need to be heading, where the imposing Strandja Mountain steeps down to meet the clear waters of the Black Sea.

This is a relaxing beach, not somewhere to expect major life and parties, however if you want to chill out, then this is the ideal choice.

Bars and Restaurants

Finding a type of food for every taste is easy in Sunny Beach, due to the sheer number of restaurants to choose from. If you want fast food, you can find it, and if you want upmarket dishes, you're catered for too, along with everything in-between. If you are going for the more upmarket feel then head to Bolero Bar, which has that slightly more sophisticated feel with surprisingly low price tags to boot. This is a great choice for a special occasion.

Alternatively, if you're craving Asian fusion food, as many of us do when we're away, then Djanny is your go-to, with a large menu to choose from and something a little different from what you may have had the night before.

Sunny Beach is also home to popular Staropramen, with a huge menu of international dishes to try, great prices, and a central location.

Things to do in Sunny Beach in September

Sunny Beach may have the word 'beach' in it, but there is much more to it than that! You can head off on a scenic tour of the beautiful Black Sea Coast with Fastferry Hydrofoils, who do twice weekly, full day tours. You get picked up at Sunny Beach and are taken to Nessebar Harbour, before being taken to Sozopol; here you spend the afternoon and have lunch, before returning to your hotel in the evening. This a full day out but will certainly show you some of the beauty away from the beach and nightlife that Sunny Beach is mainly famous for.

The Black Sea Coast is also famous for naturally formed mud baths, with reputed healing properties for joint and skin conditions – the good news? You only need to hire a car and head half an hour away from Sunny Beach to enjoy them, and they're totally free to visit! The ones closest to Sunny Beach are just north of Bourgas at Atanasovsko Lake, meaning you can throw in a visit to Bourgas on your way.

Alternatively, you might fancy getting active with a spot of tennis as the temperatures cool a little, and in that case head to Hotel Oleander House and Tennis Club and spend a few hours playing in the sun.
