The Medieval Rose Festival is an annual event that takes place during the months of May or June. The Rose Festival gives locals and tourists the chance to take a step back in time and see what living during medieval times in Rhodes was like. Highlights include medieval feasting and the Witches and Fairies Dance, which features fire eaters, jugglers and jesters; all suitably dressed in authentic looking medieval costumes. There is also magnificent dance and music performances to lok out for. Great fun for all the family.
Things to do
The man-made Parc Rodini Rhodes is a top choice for families looking for a place to enjoy a day out together without breaking the bank. Found within Rhodes Town, the park is home to a small selection of wildlife, including birds such as peacocks, which will come quite close to you if you bring food. In addition to the wildlife, Parc Rodini Rhodes also offers several picnic areas, streams and plenty of walking trails, providing you with the ideal conditions in which to relax and unwind.

A popular place for families and couples to spend the day, Faliraki is full of things to see and do.
